Hi!
I am a 24 year young queer, transsexual (I like the word, actually), francophone/bilingual, "Canadian", poly, kinky, nerdy, human. And the proud owner of two cats.
As it relates to this site:
Came out publicly almost exactly 1 year ago. Started T via pills in January, then injections at increasingly higher dosage since March. So I am 6-8 months on T depending how you count. Got my name legally changed in April. Got a TLAVH/BSO (hysto) umm... 16 days ago. I am slightly short (5'3") and smallish/curvyish build, and have no body hair, really, or facial hair, which makes being read appropriately as male annoying. Hopefully I can work out in a few weeks though (because the body type I want is more muscular)! I am feminine-ish, but not enough to want to identify as a fem guy.
In my real life, I work for a LGBTQ centre in Ontario, have supported various folk in their transition, and lived the past year with two mtf folk (one of which I was dating, but she went gay so...yeah.). Coming out amidst a bunch of trans people has been weird, but has also been great since I knew more or less what to expect.
I plan on convincing the gvt of QC to get me top surgery in the next year, as I can't afford it. And I plan on earning some sweet mutton chops.
It is OK to ask me about ^ this stuff, including hysto, etc.
So, hi! Nice to meet all of you.
