BROOKSVILLE Deputies say a teen's mother contacted law enforcement after she found suggestive texts and a photo that were sent to her child's cell phone by a transgender male.

Aliena Deamete Taylor, 31, of Brooksville, was arrested Saturday on charges of transmission of material that is harmful to minors and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office report.

Transgender would seem to be rather irrelevent in this context.

I agree with the above ^
But if you read the comments on the article the first one only mentions that it's wrong because it involves someone who is trans
And most of the comments after continue to make just make a big deal about the person being trans nothing to do with the pictures.
Kinda bs in my opinion

Of course anytime anything like this happens where an adult is involved with something bad with a minor they will always point out something about the bad person to get views/publicity.

Whether it's their gender, their sex, sexuality, if they are a racial minority, political person, government person, whatever, it's always something they make a point of mentioning because it's somehow worse when it's not a hetero white male who does it.

You will notice that unless it's something especially heinous people will yawn over anything involving a straight while male.

I agree; I've also noticed that in a lot of cases if the victim or killer/assailant/guilty party is involved in BDSM, the media jumps all over it, whether it's relevant or not.   :-\  Guess it's just how people are.  They've gotta throw something in there for the ignorant people to chew on, so to speak.
