Ok I have about six more laser treatments left at American Laser Center. Already had around 14...It looks as though I will be heading
for electrolysis, bcause of the light/grey. How long does ur facial hair nd to grow b4 each electrolysis....?

3-4 days.  If you can't see'em - you can't fry'em!!!

BTW: Your electrolysis may complain that the hair follicles are damaged and harder to preform electrolysis.

20 sessions of laser seems like a poor kill rate to me, especially when you have to do electrolysis on top of it (I'm not laser expert either, only done it on my chest, stomach and back - six session 98% clear of black hairs)

i have to agree with Jamie. 20 does seems a little "too much." I wonder what type of laser gem they are using for your face? I know where I live American Laser doesn't use the best lasers and they were 80% more expensive than the spas and doctor offices here. But this is just in my area.

I went to a local spa and had nine treatments done. I made sure they had a good laser tho.

Yeah, five laser sessions have given me probably 90-95% kill, and what's left is either vellus or a couple little scraggly, skinny hairs, easy enough to pluck once a week or so.  If you're not making any progress after 14, it seems to me that you aren't getting much more out of it.

Out of curiosity, would laser be a viable option for dark reddish facial hair?

yes. It also depends on the pigmentation of your face. If its very pale you will get better results versus your face being darker.
