I realised I haven't been going out in my university years due to being stuck in the wrong body. I didn't talk with people either, and this situation did drain my social skills.

Since going FT I barely have enough clothes for my day to day stuff, so I don't have apparel to go out yet, but I will soon. I seen to want to go and meet people these days, as opposed to being ashamed of myself. I smile a lot easier as well. :) Though I don't pass 100% yet, I think I do well enough and I'm sure I will be meeting new people fairly soon. :)

Little girls don't have to learn to be little girls and likewise little boys don't have to learn to be little boys they just express themselves without wondering am I behaving like a girl/boy should?    Get your mind straight and all else will follow.   Whether you like it or not you are constantly expressing yourself to others.

If you are at Uni, going out in what you wear to class is probably ok for a lot of things anyway. Go for it, enjoy!

@all thanks for the advice

@Meinoz

I realise. Well it is mostly the clubbing scene I have been missing so far. Women here tend to dress really well and it is a bit intimidating. It is true that most brazilian women look really good.

For everything else, like going to the movies, my current clothes work fine :)

I would be scared to go clubbing! I commend your courage for even thinking about it.
