Ok. I have been gone about a month I guess..maybe less, I dunno. But, my computer has basically died so I haven't been able to get online with it for awhile now. I have to use my friends computer now till I have the money to get it fixed or buy a new one...That's the bad news
Good news is....I finally got a job after searching for 3 months! YAY! And the better news is...when I was hired, I spoke to my bosses and decided to come out after reading the employee handbook and them talking about their policies on harassment and equal opportunity employers. My boss was amazing! She said it was no big deal and if I ever have any issues to let her know. The other day I was called in the office and she asked me "I was thinking..and just so that you are more comfortable..what did you want us to call you "He" or "She"? I was stunned! I don't think I've smiled that large in a long time...I told her I DO prefer to be called He but if someone slips I am not going to go off on them or anything. I don't think I could have found a better work place.
