Nausea - middle ear?

Since I started on HRT a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that I got carsick. Then a couple of days ago I noticed I was getting travel sick reading on a train (this never happens - it would on a bus, but never on a train). Then yesterday doing a warm-up exercise where you spin your torso left and right whilst standing still, it happened again.

So this is obviously something going on in my middle ear, but I don't know if it's caused by my recent virus or by the medication (progynova, androcur, avodart).

Has anyone here experienced similar symptoms on any of this medication, and if so, did it go away over time?

Well, not quite the same but I remember once while I was on Androcur that I got very seasick (no other way to describe it) from drinking Diet Coke. I am convinced the fake sugar (whatever it's called) did a thing on me, because that night while I was in bed (fortunately I was in bed) I remember repeating to myself: this is up, that is down and the bed isn't moving. And no, the coke wasn't spiked with anything. 

I have never liked diet drinks with artificial sugar, but I don't think I would have been affected that way after the heavy hormone doses were over.

I've noticed it's easier to get motion sickness too.  I can't remember the technical aspects, but basically the spiro does something funky with your ears.  I have trouble riding carnival rides that involve traveling in circular motions, I get car sick when riding in a car with someone, etc.  The spiro bottle does warn of getting nausea or dizziness - I think this is what it's referring to.

  Both Avodart (most likely) and Progynova shows dizziness as a side effect.  Dizziness includes motion sickness.  If this persist, notify your doctor.

I remember taking injectable premarin which gave me morining sickness. I stopped that and switched to estradiol valerate injectable

Thanks for the replies - it's worn off, either because my ears aren't blocked any more (if that's what caused it), or because I've adjusted to the medication (if that's what caused it).

*Smoking too much* will sometimes cause *nausea* as well.

Know that is also a "Dr Knows flat-fact" (a "which movie quiz"?) in Kiera's "Blue Fairy" search to be a *real, usually still very flawed, girl*!

True, when people smoke around me, it tends to make me nauseous .

Up until I started taking HRT I could read the smallest of print in any moving train, boat, car, or airplain. Now though I can't even check my email on my smartphone without getting motion sickness. I don't know what is the cause because I started all my meds at the same time.
