A couple years ago, i worked with a friend of mine to come up with a tool that would help me daily, to be the man I want to be. We made a poster board in the shape of a tree, with the roots being 5 of my favorite Bible verses, the trunk being faith in God, and the branches being the goals i have for my life. The Bible says that we are to be rooted in Christ. Thought with all the animosity about being christian, I would share these five verses.
1. I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me.
2. They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall walk and not faint.
3. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
4. The peace of God, that passeth all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind.
5. The Lord is my light and my salvation, of whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom
shall I be afraid.
The last verse is one i pray every day. God is the strength of my life....I have nothing to fear.
