I've seen the movie just last weekend, I rather liked it.

The movie is in German and about a trans guy in Germany, it had English subs though. It is indeed about a trans guy who falls in love with a gay guy and nobody knows he is trans except for a female friend who knew him from before, there is more to the story though. It deals with being stealth, starting a new life as yourself and people not understanding as well, I found some of the scenes very recognizable.

I saw it at a TG event over here in the Netherlands, I have been looking for a place to buy it, but I've had no luck so far.

I just found it on amazon.com to buy for $25.

But also on Amazon it says that the movie's release date is January 17th, 2012. And I can only "pre-order" it. So maybe that's it. It's not technically out yet.

yeah it's not technically out yet....they're still showing it at selected theaters throughout europe...
haven't seen it but would love to. have heard nothing but positive comments by transguys so far.

it sound cool I where a bit sceptical how realistic they would keep it since the guy who play the role is cis and not trans..

anyway they gonna show it on the festival here however im not in the city for that days so cant see it.. arg suchs.. but gonna watch the move a time or another..

I can't wait to see that! I a short story like that once before too, which annoys me as this happens all too often to me. I like how it portrays a ftm who likes guys, as it's not exactly a popular notion that we can even like guys.

also like guys, and kinda feel akward somethimes if gay guys who dont know im ftm start flirting around..
I would really like to see how much I can relate to this film or not as you say the most ftm movies I seen the main character is straight.

I saw the trailer and it looks interesting. I know it played the other day at a local film festival, but I already had other plans. Hopefully I'll be able to watch it sometime soon.

Eh... Not my type of film, but its cool that they've made a transman movie that [hopefully] doesn't end in rape, murder, and misery.

I read a review about it on a gay site, and they said that it were nice to see a movie of a transperson who didnt end up in munder or rape,
it sound nice, something I hate about GLBTQ movies are than many of them are so depressing and sad.

I know what you mean, couldnt stand wathing it to the end, felt like a scary movie to prove like "this is whats going to happent to you if you do so" I bet it made me kinda scared actually to get out of the closet when all these movies and documentarys I saw where about people dying or anything like that.. brbrbr..

okay guys, have seen the movie today and just gonna tell you all that its awsome,
there are few points where I had my doubt but in the long run I found it pretty realistic in a way you could put youself into the characters,
beside that the story where funny, cute, sad, and all these...

also with drama relative troubles, and a clear focus on being trans and gay..
some of the scenes went alittle fast and you sorta had to follow carefull because not everything where explained in the movie, so after wathing it you had to think alittle to understand some of the details..

the ending where also alittle out of sudden, but it where cute, just not my favorite ending however it wasnt a sad one..
