Today at work I answered the phone with my old name.

I answered the phone with my old name!

Blargh, what was I thinking! Hmm, I guess I wasn't.

Annah

I think most of us had that issue at least once :P

I remember last year, some classmates were calling out my name. I never answered them because I had not gotten used my new yet ....not to the point where I instinctively turn my head to see who was saying my name.

They stated, "oh my god, are you deaf?"

lol, so it does happen

@Bird, I haven't legally changed my name yet. But, I'm listed as "Constance" in all company directories except for human resources/payroll. There, I'm still "David."

@JenJen, I honestly can't remember if I answered with my femme voice, but I was sure to use my "David" voice for the rest of the call (which was mercifully short).

@Tracey, when I talk to myself I still call myself "David."

@Annah, in the last week before starting my RLE it was hard to answer the phone with my legal name!

Devlyn

Does everyone have their names right today? Hugs, Tracey
