Hello, I'm a longtme lurker who only recently gathered the courage to actually post. I've had gender related issues for many years now. It started out very slow, but has grown immensly over time. I'm just confused and want to gain a better understanding of myself. This board seems to be populated by very kind, generous people. I dont know where I'll end up, but I hope it brings me peace of mind.

Nice to meet you, Emily. :) I hope that you find what you're looking for, and that the great people here can help you do that.

Hello Emily,

Welcome to Susan's. It is a pretty friendly and sincere place. Lots of good news and information. I hope you will be able to find what you are looking for, and stay a while.

It's nothing unusual for things  develop the way they have for you. You are very normal.

Depending on your age and how you would like to 'evolve', there are basically two ways of achieving your goals. Either tag along here and read some blogs, join in the conversations and ask questions; or you can go the 'express' lane. That would be to see a reputable gender therapist, gear yourself up for the pending change. Get all the boxes ticked, change, and start enjoying your new found freedom. Totally emancipated and free to be the one you were destined to be.

There may be a group of Aussies swing by later to say 'hello', or to be more political correct; "G'day mate!" Don't worry, they'll just be trying to convince you to come over to the Promised Land, if you're not already here. LOL Trust me, they won't bite.

In the meantime, be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

G'day mate. ::)

Thanks Catherine

Hi, I'm Cindy and I'm in the promised land, Adelaide to be exact.

I think one of the things for newbies is to come on and then to be a bit overwhelmed. Not a problem. I've been here for quite some time but still remember the first shy posts. I was totally terrified of everything. It took me six months to get my ears pierced for gods sake. I was terrified of what people at work would say. Ahmm I now have double piercing's in each ear, with a one inch hoops and a diamond stud in each ear. I present as a sort of an imitation of a guy, with high arched  styled eyebrows. I pass badly as a guy. NO ONE HAS EVER MADE A BAD COMMENT TO ME. Guess what. I don't care what people think about me, and people accept me for who I am.

So come on in. Sit down and read some posts and post away. Read the ToS under Susan's area as well, tells you what you can and can't do, and when you can post an avatar.

Hugs

Cindy

Hi Emily, welcome to Susans! As a lurker, you know who bites, and who doesn't! Anyway, my rabies shot is up to date. See you around, hugs, Tracey

Welcome from an SA girl to you too,

we an even more rare species on this out-fit then Aussie girls.

I'm at present dealing with my crocodile bite (between me legs) as the result of having arrived at this point via the 'fast lane' as Catherine mentioned --- though it took me about 100 years to figure out what was MY case. Then all went 1,2,3, wham bang thank you ma'am :-)

So don't be shy, most don't bite, and when - not like crocs in any case.

Hug,
Axelle
