STEP ONE
Get surgery (if you are getting key hole you may not need this at all but for double incision i recommend it)
with NO nipple grafts (have them take the nipples off completely, i know it sounds crazy but keep reading)

STEP TWO
Get nipple areola tattooing
dont know what that is google it you'll like what you see
(wait that means i cant get a hard nipple, KEEP READING)

STEP THREE
Subdermal implant of the nipple itself
again dont know google it
it pretty much adds the nipple part of the nipple to your areola

STEP FOUR
Scar Camouflage for scars of chest
it may take a few sessions to get it perfect but you wont be disappointed in the end

DOWNFALL OF THIS PROCESS
you can feel your areola but not the nipples themselves
it will cost a little more money but not too much

POSITIVES TO THIS PROCESS
you will have perfectly straight nipples unless the tattoo artist ->-bleeped-<-s up
you can choose exactly what nipples you want (shade, size, etc.)
after the camouflaging you wont have any scars

WHEN I GET ENOUGH MONEY TO DO THIS I WILL BE DOING THIS ASAP!

Losing all feeling in the 'most important' part of your chest doesn't really make me think of this as the best chest surgery. Besides, even natural nipples can be less than perfectly straight.

I'm not gettin the tatted-on nipples but that scar camouflage thing is an awesome idea. THANK YOU for posting.

Different surgery types are "THE BEST" for different people depending on size, what they are wanting, etc.  Plus subdermal implants can and usually do reject.  Good luck when your "nipples" fall out.

Sensation is hit or miss really depending on the surgery you have.

Nah, I would rather have feeling. If I do try for top surgery I'm going to have the doctor keep the nipples attached to the stalks so I can have the most amount of feeling.

'Cause I'd rather have function over form.

I had a DI with nipple grafts.  That was the best surgery for me and I don't regret it.

I'm interested in the scar camouflage though.  Not so much for my chest scars but for some other scars that I have.  Thanks for posting.

Wait, you're on Susan's, too, Hunter? Well, I'll be.

Can you tell me more about the Scar Camouflage?  I tried to google it, but all I got was make up tips.

Also, what if they put they put the actual nipple back on.  and then tattooed the areola afterwards?  Wouldn't you have max feeling then?

I have no interest in my nipples, so losing the feeling in them wouldn't bother me. I think it's a really good idea for those looking for an alternative. I'm just not exactly sure what method I'll go with but I love this post cause it just gave me another option. Also that scar camouflage is amazing, I mean want to get my chest tattooed over but it'd be nice to have the scars not as noticeable in the mean time or messing up the tattoo.

The reason there is loss of feeling after nipple grafts is because they are cutting the nerves that connect the nipple to your body.  Some feeling may come back but those connections usually don't heal fully and that's why you have little to no sensation.

ha i was think the same thing cause nipple placement is really important to me.

That scar camouflage thing is awesome, I wonder how much it would cost?

As for the other stuff I'd rather keep my nipples, since you can't pierce implants and that's what I plan to do ASAP after chest surg.

hmmm....

mine turned out pretty damn perfect and all I did was go and have the surgery.

Heres my tip: Go to a good surgeon.

I would rather save up an extra few thousand dollars for a surgeon that knows what they're doing than get tattooed nipples.
edit: and subdermal nipple implants? Who came up with that idea? I haven't found ANYTHING about this online.  I would absolutely love to see the success rate of that. maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place...

I wanted to retain sensation, so I kept the nerve stalk. The areolas are about the right size, but the nipples are still too big (he was supposed to flatten them out a bit but didn't). I might get a nipple revision at some point.

I'm puzzled by the subdermal implant. Never heard of that. Is there any info out there on this?

Not getting nipple grafts is not a sign of a surgeon that doesn't know what they are doing.  Some guys opt to not have nipple grafts and to have tattooed areolas or have the nipple graft done later after the initial incisions have healed.  I've actually seen one guy with really great results through the latter process and it had me seriously considering that option.
