Measure would allow gay couples to deduct some health costs

A plan by lesbian Del. Heather Mizeur (D-Montgomery County) to require insurance companies to write policies that are inclusive of domestic partners and their children has not yet undergone the review.

And a plan to bar discrimination against transgender people in the areas of employment, housing, credit and public accommodations is expected to have a negligible effect on the state budget.
