Coming out?  It's never been a thing I've really thought much about, because I dont think I could stay in.  People are bound to wonder a bit about me, simply from my appearance, but they take me as I am - a girly shaped guy with girly manners. And I'm happy with that and dont try to hide it.

I loved reading your posts, Shelly.  We're both UK and both have experience of the NHS and its doctors.  I can quite believe what you say about the unsympathetic treatment you are likely to get from NHS doctors - not all, but many.  There are things that the NHS is good at but others it is not. In my own case, when I was in hospital some time ago for broken bones, apart from my bones (where they did an excellent job) they were terribly concerned about my weak bladder, which never worries me much,  but weak bladders are in their  training course, and I'm on the pissers database and I'm expected go to a clinic for it every few months for treatment which I dont want. But my obviously androgyne body is never mentioned, because things like that weren't  their training course . I leave it that way, because I dont want treatment for that either.  It at least means I wont get the sort of rebuffs that you have had.
