Anybody else experience/feel like they had an increase in their body temperature on T? I always seem to be hot when surrounded by people complaining they're freezing cold.

well, I dont know if this is body temperature or what but when I first started T I felt there where a diffrence in the shower.
I used to take very hot showers and after starting T I had to be more carefull...

I dont know if it was because my skin chanced or if it was the temparature or whatever.

Careful how? Like you got burned or something?

Definitely. Also, I think it was somewhere around a month after starting T that I was getting hot flashes really bad - luckily it was the middle of winter so I could just walk outside in a t-shirt if I needed to cool down. I read somewhere that's sort of a menopausal thing, and it didn't really last long. But, yeah, it's actually one of only two things about T that I really dislike. Summer's always been bad for me, now it's miserable. Most days I wake up covered in sweat, even when it's cold, and I'd never sweat in my sleep before T. Plus I'm sweating a lot more overall. It's a bit disgusting.

I'm warmer. I figure it's from the increase in blood volume.

And I sweat a lot more when I'm warm. I don't mean just in the pits and crotch. It's everywhere.

I have always been hot-natured but once starting T I had a very hard time dealing with the temp increase.  My head always felt like it was on fire and the rest of my body felt mostly the same but the head was the hottest part of my body.  I've gotten mostly used to it now.  I find I sweat a lot more too.

yeah pretty much, it just felt 2 warm for me,
I dont really have the problem anymore, I dont know if its cause it chanced or because I got use to use less hot water?

I never sweated in my crotch area before T but now... And yes, sweating has become a whole body and head activity.

i also feel warmer now even though the temperature outside actually went down. Even changed into a thinner jacket. Seem to sweat a little more easily too.
I also experienced the same thing regarding showers. I always showered with the same temperature setting but this morning it was way too hot and i had to turn it a lot cooler.

Hah! I'm always hot, and people notice how warm I am in the winter. I can like, will myself to warm up if I'm cold. Hate the summer; now with a binder it's pretty intense. I guess when I start T it won't be much longer till I get the baggage off my chest and that might decease the temp a bit... Bit I'll be a veritable furnace once I start T I'm sure. Plus I sweat pretty bad as it is :o

It is popular belief that men generally have a higher metabolism, but only in the sense that a bigger car uses more fuel. It also comes down to less body fat and more muscle mass which means more blood vessels and more actual blood volume (as already stated) which generates more heat..

It's hard now for me to know what is just me feeling hot or if its due to the ambient temperature as I live in the tropics! But I never really felt the cold before T.. But in winter, I've had ladies cuddle up to me and treat me like their own personal heater! And yeah the sweat (again may just be my location!).. I never really sweat much before T - as others have said, completely different story now! And everywhere, and it smells different - more manly!

Yep. This has been a very obvious change for me. I was able to run errands today in a T-shirt and shorts in 39 degree weather in the pouring rain and didn't shiver or feel chilly even once. If I had been in jeans and a sweatshirt I probably would have overheated.

I'm definitely warmer now and can become uncomfortably warm easily. I spent most my time pre T in a hoodie but now I find that too warm.
