The first time I remember telling anyone I wanted to be a boy I was 6. It was right after I cut all my hair off. Then a more educated me came out at 14. It didn't go well. Then every few years after that it would come up again. Now at 22 I'm finally starting to get the ball rolling.


5. What's your favorite food?

Italian and Mexican.



6. What funny stereotype are you?

I don't know.


7. What are you studying/plan to study/studied?

My major is different every semester.


8. What's your favorite time of year?

I like winter. I like having the option of layers and my allergies are better. But I do like the feeling of the sun and chilling on a beach.

I don't really have a set nickname. My name is Jesse. My grandma and little sister will call me Jess Jess. My friend will call me Spanky.

I figured this would be fun and would maybe help everyone get to know something new about the people on here

1. What's your favorite animal?
I love cats primarily but I have many other favourites

2. What's your favorite color?
Blue (or yellow!)

3. What did you dream of becoming when you were a little kid?
many things. Pilot, police officer, fireman, paramedic, nurse, vet, teacher, doctor, cabin crew/ flight attendant (still have many of those dreams today plus a whole lot more )

4. When did you come out as trans, gay, etc?
I haven't  My friends think i'm a lesbian I'm sure ( )I have told a few people (including counsellors) that i'm not happy with my gender but it's still a work in progress  I do hint at stuff a lot though so it probably wouldn't come as too much of a shock to most peers but my family may be shocked. I also would have to come out as a gay transman which is even more complicated. I'm scared to let anyone into my 'secret' but I also really feel I need to do it so I'm not living a lie

5. What's your favorite food?
I like most things but at the minute it's stirfry or spaghetti bolognese or beef stew with dumplings. (oh, and my homemade chunky veg and chicken soup I've begum making loads of)

6. What funny stereotype are you?
I dunno. crazy cat person i guess  people also tell me I'm a geek because I tend to study loads for exams 

7. What are you studying/plan to study/studied?
I'm currently studying Podiatry  but I have studied a year of primary education and biomedical science before

hmm, this is difficult because I like different seasons for different reasons. Probably Spring / Summer

I don't really have any  my Dad calls me peach and petal sometimes which I hate

I came out as a lesbian at fifteen - partially out as trans at sixteen and still only out to a few people.

I came out as trans at 19, I used to regard myself as bisexual but I was never really in the closet about it....I didn't see the point in making it in to a big deal. I did however have to explain that being being a man didn't suddenly mean I wasn't interested in men, that confuses people a lot for some reason....even if they aren't homophobic.

oh many things, I have serious problems with "the man" though and have failed to complete three different attempts at college now

My mom read my journal when I was about 13 or 14 (I'm still mad about that) and it had some not so innocent fantasies in it so she thought I was a Lesbian and I told her I was Trans when I was 15 after my roomate at Highland Hospital explained to me what Trans was.

I like mastiffs too. My neighbor used to have one. It was huge, drooled non stoop, but was extremely obedient.

4. When did you come out as trans, gay, etc? I'm not counting saying "I'm a boy" when I was little. I casually called myself "gay" (while exclusively dating guys) starting in maybe 2005 or so. Came out as specifically trans in late 2009.

5. What's your favorite food? My favorite food is tabooli, but I don't buy or make it much, and it's just a side dish. My favorite food that I actually eat is stir fry with brown basmati rice. Various vegetables, and peanuts rather than tofu. Lots of lemon juice and ginger.

6. What funny stereotype are you? Trailer trash. I'm uncultured, have bad teeth, drawl when I'm tired, had a kid as a teenager, get welfare, eat too much grits and tomatoes, smoke cigarettes (never inside, and now only occasionally), and I'm mean and white and desperately poor.

7. What are you studying/plan to study/studied? I was studying genetics and neurobiology, and because it takes awhile to satisfy college prereqs as a 7th grade dropout, I had time to get pretty deeply into linguistics and spanish too. Now I study Oregon history as a layman in my free time.
