I don't think I live by any, and in this town I have to expect to be discriminated against. I could look in the next big city but that's, ack, an hour drive, and I'd get lost. >.> My dad get's all his perscriptions over a Smith's counter, so I'm thinking that would that work for me too, although I'm afraid they'll read it and freak out. -.- Do you have to go to an endo a lot? Every month/day/week/year? Or can I just go once? lol

Within the first six months I went once a month.

After the first six month I went once within the six months.

Now I go twice a year.

Your doctor will see you often at first to take blood work and to regulate your HRT to the blood results you give. Once it stabilizes to the ideal dosage amount he or she feels is best for you, then the visits taper off.

Your pharmacy will know what the prescriptions are and the worse they will do is contact your doctor to verify the medication was correctly given to you (if you do not present female...because estrogen and anti adrogens to someone who presents male may be confusing for them if it is a small town grandpa pharmacy).  If you go to a big pharmacy they'll just run your insurance through then probably wonder why you are taking estrogen...but they wont make a big issue out of it.

I did not present full or part time when I was on HRT at first so the first couple fills of the medication they would call the doctor to verify they wrote the write medications down.

Since I moved and now full time they just assume I have an estrogen deficiency.

For the first 3 months I went once a month, and since then I've been going once every 3 months (but only because I'm OCD about getting blood tests done to make sure I'm not killing myself with hormones).

I've had endo and blood tests a few times and was supposed to have final one two weeks ago as my levels seem to have stabilised but nurse didn't mark my blood sample to check for E so it was only tested for T so now I have to go again in January and if level is same the endo says no need to see him again unless I notice anything defemming.

no need to worry about pharmacists freaking when presenting a prescription for hormones - unless you live in a redneck town in USA or Australia.

Over here at the Amsterdam gender clinic it's just once every 3 months. Bloodtests on the first meeting (just before starting HRT) and after the second meeting (3 months of HRT).

I had a bloodtest after the 3th meeting too, but I don't think that is their standard policy. It was because they thought I was suffering from Anemia, but it turned out they accidentally compared my blood values with the male defaults instead of the female defaults :)
