Bobby Montoya wanted to join the Girl Scouts.

Born with male genitalia, Bobby decided at age 2 that she was a girl. She dresses and acts like a typical American 7-year-old girl. Her mother, Felisha Archuleta, has been supportive of her child, even holding "princess parties" for Bobby's birthday. Recently, she tried to get Bobby into the Denver chapter of the Girl Scouts of Colorado, a part of the Girl Scouts of the USA. You know, the folks who sell cookies every spring.

When Archuleta approached the local troop, she was rebuffed. Indeed, the troop leader reportedly said things that humiliated Bobby, driving her to tears. After the story hit the news, however, higher ups with the Girl Scouts of Colorado presented a very different view than the troop leader.

"Girl Scouts is an inclusive organization and we accept all girls in kindergarten through 12th grade as members," read the Girl Scouts' press release. "If a child identifies as a girl and the child's family presents her as a girl, Girl Scouts of Colorado welcomes her as a Girl Scout."

Absolutely incredible. My respect for this organization has increased a thousand-fold. Ablow be damned, FOX News be damned, we're witnessing the IMPORTANT people making the correct decisions. And in time, more evidence will have piled up that Ablow and FOX are nothing more than propagandists chasing money whatever the human cost.
