Yup, the winter moths are back. It's been cold and rainy the last two days, so they're out in full force. Does anyone else get them?

Michelle.

I've lived in the northeast and don't ever recall these.

You have any pics?

No, I don't, I grew up here and don't remember them. They show up by the millions during cold rainy weather in November and December. They are small white moths (1/4 inch) that end up stuck all over the car, sidewalks, everywhere.

Oh, now I recall similar bugs. Though not all over the place. More like off in wooden areas.

Winter moths? o_o where I'm from as soon as the snow hits the ground pretty much all the outdoor bugs disappear. That's when I start finding droves of sow bugs and spiders in my basement :(
