Hello everyone!  I just wanted to introduce myself.  I am, using the language of the forum, a significant other.  We are just friends now, but it didn't start out that way.  I have a friend who told me she felt like a guy trapped in a girl's body.  I guess I am here looking for information.  I want to be able to help my friend however she needs me to.  I have lots of question which I will save for other, more appropriate, forums.  I am looking forward to being involved in discussion here.

Hiya!  I think it's awesome you're searching for information to help your friend; that is a true friend.  However, I cannot stress enough that your friend also needs to seek information on his own as this is a life changing ordeal that will -directly- affect him.  I encourage your friend to join this forum as well if not already on here.  Nonetheless, welcome!

As stldrmgrl said, it would be good for your friend to come on board and work through issues he thinks are important to him. Thanks for taking such an interest in him.
