Morgan.

Could anyone give me an idea about top surgery costs?

Or even anyone overseas who's had/will have top surgery or knows how much it costs roughly where they live.
I'd like to give myself some financial goals..

Under $6,000 initial cost without cover.
I think you get $2,000 back from medicare. Don't quote me on that one.

With the full 12 months cover under $4,000 with $2,000 back.
Lowest cost for cover is $100 per month.

This is with Megan Hassell in Sydney. Probably the best and cheapest surgeon in Australia.
I'm from Victoria and I will be flying to see her when I'm ready.

I went to Megan Hassall in April this year with NIB basic as my health cover. I can't remember the exact cost (I'm bad with this stuff) but I'm pretty sure my out of pocket expenses was around $3000.00. I also had to pay $2000.00 on a self contained unit, I stayed in Sydney with my family for 7 nights. That was worth it, I'm glad I did that. I was pretty ****** up, but I'm kind of a wimp.

I reckon aim to have at LEAST $5000.00 to be safe.

Good luck  ;D
