If you don't know who he is, he played Michael in Queer as Folk (on Showtime) and has done some standup and minor movie roles. Really nice guy, met him in a coffee shop this afternoon in downtown Chicago. He seemed pretty surprised to be recognized, but was down to earth and shook my hand and introduced himself. Would be cool to have a pic but I felt shy to ask. I've lived here awhile and he's the first celebrity I've met. Just wanted to share with someone! :)

I met Richard Simmons once, he was exactly like he is on TV. He was out of his mind hyper and talked to me for a good ten minutes, then hugged me and went running off.

Oh Jesus Christ, I'm incredibly jealous at this moment.

A friend at another forum has met Leonard Nimoy, and he has the pictures to prove it.

I only talked to TB for about 90 seconds, he was doing some sort of promotional work at a shop, and he signed my autograph book.   That book is long gone I am afraid.  I had the signatures of the whole Rangers FC first team AND Lena Zavaroni's autograph along with her friend a certain Miss Hovis.

My father passed John Gielgud(sp?) in a London street and one of my mother's friends knows Lulu's sister.  My paternal aunt was introduced to Richard Widmark at a party in London.

I've met some of the Disney characters, many of whom are known around the world. And I got to meet Johnny Ball when I was in high school. That's about as close as I've gotten. Oh, and I was in the audience for the filming of one of the Army,Navy and Air Force challenges of the British version of Gladiators. It was pretty fun. My old self can be seen in the crowd. I was behind the spouse of the contestant representing the Army.
