Are hormone therapies the answer to transgendered children? Flickr/PhotoComiX

The practice of eugenics is returning to contemporary Australia in the treatment of transgendered children.

With the cooperation of the Family Court, children as young as ten are being put on puberty delaying drugs after being diagnosed with "gender identity disorder" or "gender dysphoria".

There is the expectation that they will be moved onto cross-sex hormones at 16 and receive surgery to amputate their genitals at 18.

I was seriously worried about this article. It seemed that some half backed individual was taking a few titbits of popular information and combining them to create an impression. Then I read the author. Now it's seriously funny.

QuoteThe ideas for both treatments come from scientists of sex such as biologists, endocrinologists and psychiatrists.

Parents and professionals are told by transgender organisations and websites that transgender treatment is the only responsible way forward
.

You see, all these transgender organisation, the only transgender people in these are the ones who've already been brainwashed by the secret supporters of eugenics.  It's all a conspiracy to stop transgender people from breeding.

Transgender people shouldn't get surgical intervention which will necessarily leave them sterile, just to be happier. They should suffer and be miserable. Then not have any children.

I've seen some garbage posted about this story before but never comparing it to Eugenics.   IVF is more eugenics than transexuals receiving hormones.  Give me a break.
