Death

Dark, Meaningful, For Anyone Who Has Had A Loss, That They Might Find Some Comfort In Knowing That Their Loved One Has No More Suffering.

Her eyes begin to close as the tears roll to the floor.
She knows death has pranced into the room for the reason of the kiss.
She hears the moon calling as the ocean whispers her name.
She lays there,
Her hand slowly begin to grow cold.
She is torn if she should go with them or not into the deep night sky.
She decides to stop fighting them for she knows they will not leave without her tonight.
Hearing the calling of her over and over again,
She my now rest her head with ease,
As she dances into the calling of the moon,
And the ocean's soft whispers.

life is ending

i dont think i can deal with this anymore
no love, just agony and pain
the pain makes me want to walk out the door
staying much longer will drive me insane
i realy have the desire to kill
mine is in danger even if i lie
but i would be the victim of this trill
i surelly will be the next one to die
simple, sweet just a very young woman
love again i will never really feel
i cant go through this kind of pain again
i do not have the rapid urge to heal
today is going to be my real end
always remember me, your good friend

True Love Lost

The moonless night cupped me in its hands Without a star and only the light post to keep me company My thoughts are with you. With silence around me and only my footsteps for company My thoughts are with you. As the cool winter breeze caresses my face My thoughts are with you. As tears well up in my eyes my thoughts are with you. Dolores why did you leave me? Your body stayed but your soul went to heaven. With love in my heart I think of you. By William Meyers

Death

I wish you were both here
so I could hold
the two of you
in my arms
and tell you how much
I love and miss you both.
Even though I never
got to see either
of you or hold you
in my arms, you both
meant the world to me.
I miss you even more everyday .
I lie awake every night
and wander what
you might have
looked like,
Did you have my eyes?
Your fathers smile?
How tall you would be by now?
Today would be both
of your birthdays 3-16-06
BABY BOY you would be 5 today
and my Little Girl you would be 2 today
I would have given my own life
if that would have given you a chance to survived.
The pain will never go away
but your memory will stay with me
the rest of my life .

He Wanted More

Black and blue
is the color of my frame
Kicks and punches
from my boyfriend is to blame

Motionless on the floor
my body lays
Because he gave me
another beating today

Pain consumes my body
Blood consumes the floor
I can feel I'm slowly dying
because I cant take it anymore

I don't want to let go
but why should I hold on
I have no pride left
all my self esteem is gone

I tried to give him the world
and all I wanted to be was his wife
But I guess he wanted more from me
So he took my life

Euthanasia

Take from my hand, dear love, these opening flowers.
Afar from thee they grew, 'neath alien skies
Their stems sought light and life in humble wise,
Fed by the careless suns and vagrant showers.
But now their fate obeys the rule of ours.
They pass to airs made glorious by thine eyes.
Smit with swift joy, they breathe, in fragrant sighs,
Their souls out toward thee in their last glad hours,
Paying leal tribute to a brighter bloom.
Thus, and not other, is the giver's fate.
Through years unblest by thee, a cheerless path,
A checkered maze of common glare and gloom,
He came to know in rapture deep though late
How thou couldst brighten life and gentle death.

EUTHANASIA

Sipping herbal tea,I sensed your tension
You ask if I would pray with you this time
I knew this be the night you ask The Angel
To descend upon your sleep;Lift this cross
If I only had one wish I'd take your place
I shivered when you whispered; It was time
But true to my commitment to your plea
Tonight my love I'll engage your destiny
I must confess bemoaning for my soul
Mercy's queer temperance--Saint or sadist
And if my passion angers our Redeemer
May silence and lament be my penance
I've been told Iwill suffer for your peace
From the poison that harbored in yourbrain
Paralytic dawns,and turbid,manic dusks
Your terror was A cross I could not bare
Now my hands grasp filthy bars of steel
Much time to muse the ethics of justice
In hindsight---I would do it all again.

Euthanasia

1) They stoop and arrogantly discuss,
Planning the way they will organise us.
Committees deciding who should be born,
And from whom their precious life will be torn!

2) We are like gods they in error surmise,
Believing the old Dragon's damning lies.
Clicking of numbers and making of slaves,
Poor humans, swiftly slipping into graves!

3) Make way for the younger, now we are told,
You are not wanted you are far too old!
And thus guilt for living is embedded,
Multitudes, life prematurely ended.

4) Wisdom oozes from our brilliant minds,
Though, you shall not murder, His Word reminds!
Slick slipping needle, plunger poison pushing!
Resist, this sealing evil from its loosing!

Andrew Du Preez
