Hello. My name is John Doe, at least it is here and now. Names are important after all, we express our identities with them.

I chose to name myself after the generic man, representative of anonymity. Why? I don't quite know. I'm sure I have an interesting subconscious reason for doing so... Or I just like the name. Either way it'll do.

I came here because I have concerns about myself I'd like to address, and also because I like forums. (Starved for social interaction!)

I apologize in advance for my lack of social graces, I'm not terribly skilled with such things. I've been a shut-in since I dropped out of college a few years back, nervous breakdown, and I've never exactly been a people person. Being out of practise makes it even worse.

I'm a writer, an asexual, a cat owner, a virgo, a man, a liberal, and a hermit. In roughly that order.
