So, the name's JS, or James Steven...  All of this is very new to me and will be a lot to process!

I only tiptoed out of the closet as a TG yesterday.  So far I only have came out to other people who identify themselves as TG.  This is somewhat ironic... I used to be transphobic and wouldn't bother to try and understand the concept of gender identity, until I met several TGs within the past few months, which really made me realize that I am TG.

So I've come to this community to learn more about being a TG and to meet more people who identify themselves as TG.

See you all around then! :)

Welcome aboard, lots of interesting people and info here. Even a few laughs too.  We are a pretty diverse bunch, and there are a lot of great guys here, who you will no doubt get to know in time.

Sounds like a case of "internalised transphobia", where your subconscious and consciousness were argueing.  Quite common, along with "internalised homophobia". Give it time and you will work out where on the TG spectrum you are most comfortable. There is no right or wrong, just what works for you in your situation.

Welcome!

Ignore what Tracey said, these chairs aren't very comfortable. Come sit with me on the couch! ;)

Welcome JS :) You're in good company so relax. Just remember to make sure to walk on the balls of your feet if you have to cross the lawn in heels and tap off your make up brushes so they don't sprinkle eye shadow on your cheeks lol. Personally I do my eyes first so if I'm not feeling those colors that day I can take it off and not have to mess up my foundation :)
