I know, I am a big sentimental mush. Every year I cry my eyes out watching It's a wonderful Life. This year I think for totally different reasons then in the past.

For half or more of the movie I just could not help to think how much of what George Bailey's "Doing the right thing" so coincides with how much and how often I, and I am sure many others, felt trapped into exactly the same "having to do the right thing" mindset. Much of this past year or so I have been looking back over my life decisions, and the consequences. The movie had much more of a special meaning to me then ever before.

Mind reader! I was going to start an "It's a wonderful life" thread. One of my absolute favourite movies. I cry like a little girl, I think we all have something inside that movie can reach. As a veteran, I lose it when Clarence says "Every man on that ship died. Harry wasn't there to save them because you weren't there to save Harry." I'm crying now, dammit. I gotta go. Hugs, Tracey
