Packer turning colors

My packer seems to be rubbing against certain clothing items and getting discolored. For instance, I wore a black jock strap and now my packer is dark purplish. I tried washing it but only some comes off. Can I soak it in something? Does anyone else have this problem?  Thanks

I toss mine in with the laundry when that happens.

What material is it? Mine's never done that...

mine does that but as long as whatever it is isnt black then it doesnt get messed up. the best thing to do if its already a bit dyed is soak it in soapy water for like a day then rinse it really good.

Just to add, that happened to mine (Packy model, pink, thermal gel).  It doesn't particularly bother me, though, as IMHO the natural Packy colour looks pretty unrealistic anyway.
