Hello,

I have been on the same dose of testo since 2005.  In the past year I have been experiencing hot flashes towards the end of the 3 weeks cycle.  As anyone else experienced this problem? or know of this ?

Thanks,

Sebastien

Sebastien, how long since you've had your levels checked? Have you had your thyroid tested?

Hello Bojangles,

I am going tomorrow to get things check out. I have an underactive thyroid and I have been taking synthroid for many years. But the hot flashes are new. I was wondering if some one else experienced hot flashes at the low point of their testo cycle.  Sebastien

I get them before periods. I'm not on T, though.

I've started to notice the same thing since taking T, but to be honest I always feel like my body temperature is high. I'd sit in the air conditioning during Winter if I could.

My mother is on HRT for reasons to do with menopause and she experienced them quite often in the beginning but since then they've settled down, but she does get them every once in a while.

This is why I inject weekly.
I heard weird things happening to people sometimes at the end of 2-3 week cycle, because some people have systems that process testosterone faster.
I've heard that administering weekly can help avoid testosterone reaching its decay time in your body.
I'm sort of wondering if you had a hysterectomy yet - because the ovaries have a high concentration of estrogen.
If you have ovaries and you are infertile by this point, then that could be why you're experiencing hot flashes - kind of like going through menopause.
Also, if you don't have ovaries by this point, then I assume having a low amount of any hormones in your body could attribute as to why you feel really strange at the end of your three week cycle.

I'm honestly just guessing most of this though and you are better off seeing a doctor (as several other people said) to be sure.
Meow.
