Iddy, Alison, and Brenda moved to retired staff status

Due to extreme inactivity lasting more than 100 days each, the people listed above have been retired until they are able to return to a more active status. They have all contributed more to the site than I can ever list so they will be welcomed back if they ever wish to return!

Susan, if you are talking about the Brenda I think you are, she's fine. I don't know when she left the forums but if you remember, her SO kept saying each step along the way that she was going to leave.  Well her SO ended up going to Montreal with her during her SRS and they are still together.  Several grandchildren, her job and her SO's MS take up a lot of her time.

my work schedule took some funny turns there, I was on overnights, then off overnights then back on overnights then a promotion, then off overnights again yadda yadda yadda...

And number 4 grandchild is expected April 15th. 

Life has definitely been a ride and the ride continues.  As Bev said, my SO and I are still married.  I transitioned on the job and I'm still at the same job.  So, we're a same-sex married couple and that was a stretch for the company to accept.  I was told, by someone who was involved in the discussion, that the company considered challenging my marriage in court.  They didn't.  Since GRS in Spetember of 2004, we've filed both State and Federal tax returns as married filing jointly and both listed as 'F'.  So far, we haven't been challenged on that either.

I'll be visiting as often as I can.
