Hair Tips Please

So I have short dirty blonde hair. Currently I work at a full time job in boy mode. So if I get a hair cut, I would like to switch it pretty easy. Mabe something androgynous for now, but definitely edgy. I am really not sure what to do. I was also thinking mabe dying it blonde or highlights. I usually where a hat right now because I'm trying to get my hair longer before i cut it. So what do you girls think? Thank you!! I'll post two pictures OMG, so one is me taking my hat off and my hair is a mess and the other I was pulling my back up. lol. Also I try to cover my receding line. It is growing back though with baby hairs right now.

Also anykind of coloring you do to your hair will instantly feminize you. I dunno why but the second I went blonde the more feminine I looked.

Go to a stylist and ask them for a uniform layered cut. Then have them side sweep the bangs to your left (it looks like you like to do them that way). Should look a lil like this:

But due to your face shape, I'd be wary about adding too much volume, especially up top. The cut itself will not add volume, but stylists love to add it to hair now n days.

As far as color, I'd either darken it so that its less of a dull brown, or put some very contrasting highlights in it. Almost a golden highlight, but if you're gonna go with a highlight, don't overdo it!

EDIT: Btw, this is a fairly difficult cut to get just right, so don't just get ur neighbor to do it!
