hi everyone. For the past couple of years i have been confused for a older person. I turned 22 in may and people who dont know my age always tell me i look to be in early to mid 30's. This is not new it has been happenig ever since i was a teen. I want to know in ur honest opinions if i do look old, or at least older than my age. I wouldnt be asking if i was going to get offended so dont worry about that. I appreciate anyones honesty as i am curious to know from others perspectives. Thank you

To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Usually people "guess" your age depending on your job and on your personal situation.

For example, I had been living in a student residence hall for a while when I was 29, and staff in the residency thought I was 18, because I had just arrived to the residence hall.

At job (same year), people who knew I am divorced, sometimes share jokes about the midlife crisis and dating after 40.

So, don't worry, Elsa, you have a very young face. Just try to say something like "I have no time to prepare my exams", and people will start thinking you are a teenager student.

I got called a milf today after posting my pic on an image board. I wasn't sure how to take it since I'm only 22

with that being said I think the OP looks her age.

MarinaM

I say you look 26

Me, I either get read as a girl my age, or as a teenage boy.

You look like I'd card you for alcohol, so not over early to mid twenties.

This happens to many T-women, so you are definitely not alone about it.
The reason why many T-women looks older than they are, is for the most part caused by their male bonestructure of the face, and other factors may also be skin and hairline, etc.
However, it can also go the other way around, and paradoxically many T-women can also look extremely young, depending on the physiology in combination with hormones.
So it could go either way really, depending on a number of physiological factors.

Hi Elsa,

Based on that photo alone, I'd put you mid to late 20'ies. Other factors that would influence people you meet in the street, would be your fashion style, make up, hair style. So you need to take that into consideration when people age you later than what you are.

For what it's worth; please collect your grain of salt now; WII Sports aged me 25 years younger than I actually am, when I did it's programme evaluation study  (My oh my!!!! How I love WII Sports) (Please excuse my out burst of vanity, while clutching at straws. After all I'm permitted to invoke my feminine discretion by not revealing such classified sensitive information LOL) Suffice to say; I was born in the previous millennium.

I firmly believe, and hold to the fact; you are as old as you feel.         (Oh my lawd!! Stand aside Methuselah, Catherine is coming through.   LOL)

Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

From remembering your older pix I'd say you look about 25 for a guy and late 20s/early 30s for a girl. I think it's to do with being big boned more than anything else. Anyway, it sucks looking older than your actual age but maybe when you hit 40 people will think you're 28... it happens.

Thank you for the vote of confidence Emma.     I did say I was born in the previous millennium. So, by my calculations that means I've had to been born after 1042, not to out do old Methuselah. And boy! after some of those nights out with the girls, it feels very close to it.   ;D  ;D

Be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa luv
