Has anyone been outed because of SS informing employer that gender is not a match. I have heard of this happening but only online. I have changed name but they won't change gender until birth certificate is changed.
I know if your with the same company it may not matter or even happen but if starting a new job this would not be a good start.

The SSA officially announced that they would no longer send gender no-match letters sometime this last year.  If you search you can probably find the statement.

So it isn't a worry anymore.
