I have SRS scheduled for December 20th with Dr Suporn, and I just inquired about other pricing, tracheal shave, upper blepharoplasty, and a lip lift, and it's no different than American prices really.

2000 for Tracheal shave
2000 for Upper blepharoplasty
1600 for lip lift

I don't know about the other two procedures, but Suporn is charging more for the lip lift than the surgeon I'm going to in the US.

Yeah its a bit much, I am going to try to find out if there are other good facial surgeons around Chonburi, that I can see for those other procedures. I refuse to pay 6k, for them. Thats a lot.

The issue is Suporn probably has a surgery lined up everyday for the next ten years if he so desired.

As long as people are flocking to him in mass quantities, he wont be lowering his prices anytime soon.

As for me, yes, I think his prices are too high. My surgeon in the US was the same price (if my insurance did not cover it).

But some pay for the reputation he has.

As per the trachea shave, as it's the only cosmetic operation I can speak of, $2,000 is not too expensive in comparison to the price of Dr. Spiegel.  I inquired with Dr. Spiegel roughly six months ago, and he was charging $6,000 at the time.  Just an FYI.

Considering only doing tracheal shave with him, and going into a high luxury spa, and having upper blepharoplasty + lip lift there, maybe two weeks after srs. because Suporn's prices are a little bit crazy for Thailand standards.

Also want to get a skin resurfacing laser treatment done and maybe even some hair laser removal, might as well take advantage of my stay there huh? haha.

I was considering getting botox on my forehead, and a little bit on my jaw muscle, forehead because ever since i had ffs a few months ago, the skin hasn't been as tight, i guess its from bringing down the hairline, and jaw, just for fun, to make it more v shaped.

Any other suggestions girls?

Hi Elle,

Getting facial surgery is something that you don't want to get done by an unknown surgeon. I think that Suporn is expensive but good. Just going to the first clinic in Conburi is a great risk. Even though those procedures sound simple a real horror can happen with them if not done good. I personally think that the lips look better after dermal fillers. You can get dermal fillers and botox but I would never let somebody touch my eyes especially if I am not sure he is good in it.

I was thinking of only doing SRS with Suporn, and the rest with another surgeon because honestly, I dont believe Suporn is the only really good surgeon in Thailand, I know there are a few others just as good, who are not as 'Western', Suporn's market is mostly European and Western, so his prices represent that.

So far, I am thinking of having tracheal shave, and upper blepharoplasty with another doctor. I think I still might have the lip lift with Suporn as he is the only one I see so far who does it.

Anyone know any other good surgeons, I am considering Greechart?
