One of these days science will get to the point where being a furry will be possible, and you'll see people walking about with wolf heads. I don't have an issue with this at all, it's who they want to be.
Well I think the main two fears are:
1. Being "tricked" (as they would see it) into being gay by their feeling an attraction toward a trans person.
2. That we are just fetishist deviants who would molest people in bathrooms if given the chance.
There was an interesting documentary some time ago about a female named "Pao", or, "Paw", that was a Furry/Therian.
She lived her life as a cat and had a catsuit, ate sitting on the floor while her female human 'mate' poored it up in a bowl for her, purred, played as a cat, and in short just lived her life much like a cat.
She said, that she thought that just as Sex-corrective treatments are avaible, there should also be Species-corrective treatments avaible for those that wanted that too.
And while on the subject, we must ofcourse not forget the case of the infamous Dennis Avner, also called "Cat man", that have spent loads of surgery on looking like a tiger, as that is who he says he feels that he are on the inside, although he happened to be born with a Human body.
Quite interesting, actually, as such people as Therians, furries and Otherkins claim just as strongly as Transgendered people do, that they are really "trapped" in their own bodies.
What regards that too often seen statement about transsexuals being "decievers", I read just such a comment just the other day on a Youtube-clip about sexchanges in Iran, where one of the commentators to the clip wrote that "I don't understand why they can't just let them be, everybody knows that transsexuals are just gays that want to change sex so that they can decieve straight people".
Funny thing is, that the guy that wrote that, are
totally obsessed by watching ->-bleeped-<-clips on Youtube, which perhaps says something about his "type", so to speak.
