Happy Thanksgiving!!!  :icon_boogy:

Since it is a holiday today and flowers are everywhere on the dining tables in the households all over America....

It has made me yearn for a man to send me flowers as a romantic gesture - since the last time it happened was... NEVER!  :-\

I confess that am a romantic sucker!

I've never been the recipient of a gift like that before, I've just always been the one to give.

Is this like the new way of checking if you pass? Lol, that would be so difficult. "OMG a man hasn't sent me flowers yet. I wish I could pass."

Anyway, my wife gives me flowers and I love her for it. I hope everyone can find people that bring them as much joy in their lives.

I would love a man to send me flowers and I am not attracted to men.   :)

I wouldn't mind being a man's girlfriend, and in certain circumstances I could even perform those things that most women do to a male lover.  I could with the right guy give and receive, if you get my meaning.   However, it wouldn't be fair on him as I would only be going out with him for the satisfaction of being seen and treated as a woman by a man.

As sex only plays a smallish part in relationships you have to find someone that you not only can talk to but you actually feel a need to reveal your inner most self.   I have no interested in knowing a man like this.   I want to be intimate and loving with another woman.

That is why  I hate Valentines whenever it rolls around... Nobody sends me flowers.  :icon_bunch: lol

To add insult to injury, my birthday is a week right before Valentines, so if no flowers on my birthday :icon_birthday: followed up by Valentines, I  :icon_cry2: !

An interesting factoid about myself:

I've had relationships or DATES during every month of the year in my life history - BUT NEVER during my birthday or Valentines month, which happens to be February! The closest I ever came to was that I had a boyfriend through past the holidays until mid-January, then he dumped me.  :icon_blah:

So it is always a double-punch  :icon_boxing: whenever February lolls around and I m single on my birthday leading into being single on Valentines again, heh

Nope, never happened to me. If it did, I know a few guy's who would have sent them and I'd probably never hear the end of it at home. lol

Yes actually, but it was years ago before I decided to knew about transition... I feel bad because I thought it was a joke, I didn't understand that he could be in love with me and saw me as his girlfriend  :-\  Even worse, I was in love with him as well but didn't know how and was afraid to express it

The main deterrent was that he had a tendency to be disrespectful and violent... He eventually got deported back to Europe for getting in fights, particularly with the police
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

BUT, I have had a man send me some lingerie and jewellery.  The lingerie was a silky red gown and robe. It was very pretty. And the jewelery is a small pewter-looking box of a teddy bear holding a heart. Inside the box is a matching necklace. The two smaller bears on the lid are actually matching earrings and the lid itself is a pin.  The lingerie was pre-HRT the jewellery was at 6 months HRT. And I had tears in my eyes when I saw it.
He said he got it in an antique store and I've been trying to find out about where it came from but there is nothing I can find on it

Man? No. My ex used to get me flowers fairly regularly though.

Not from a man. But my girlfriend gets me flowers on occasion. It's really sweet and I usually end up with a few tears.

I've never received any flowers period, which makes me a bit sad.

But I know that someday someone special will give me flowers and then I'll be happy and give a massive hug without letting go for a few hours. Yup, that's what I'll do then.

Hope you don't mind my writing.  I had a relationshipe with a transwoman that I was hoping would turn into something serious.  I was the first man to send her a dozen roses.  And, that's the man I am.  I love doing that.  You want a man that will send you flowers....why not look to a transman?

Nothing wrong with receiving flowers from a transman, either  :icon_flower: :icon_flower: :icon_flower:
