Finally, Gender Therapy!!!

I start Gender Therapy today!!! It took me awhile to find a therapist near my area that has a lot of experience with Gender Identity, etc, but I finally found one that is only an hr and a half away and she is all for doing sessions by Skype so I don't have to make the long trek every week. I'm nervous too, because this will be the first time I'll talk about various personal issues that isn't with everyone here at Susan's and close friends and family.

I'm one step closer...

Wow, congratulations!   That is so nice to be able to just do it on skype.   She sounds awesome.

Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about it all! When I told her that I didn't fill in the gender part of any of the paperwork, she asked why not? And I said, bc I didn't want to put female...and she asked what gender do you feel that you are, and I said MALE, and then I couldn't stop smiling! She asked why I was smiling and I said, "This is the first time I've said that to someone that isn't my family or friends, and it feels good." lol. I never felt more like the man I am than in that therapy session, is that weird?
