Just a quick note to say hi. I live in Scotland' i'm 41 years old, ex military
have dressed from very early age, have decided I need to transition, it
won't be easy as I look very masculine, 6ft tall with broad shoulders.
Any advice ?

Hi Karen,

Welcome to Susans.

I hopeyou enjoy your stay here, there is so much to do and so much information.

41 is no age barrier,I started transition at 38 and finished at 42 and 6 foot 1 is also tall, but not a problem.

Hi Karen!  Welcome!

Probably one of the most difficult things one has to deal with is self image.  You'll read countless stories of girls here who feared they would never pass (myself included) and how thye look back and wonder today why they ever thought that.  Transitioning is a miracle.  Follow the SOC, be patient and one day you'll look back and just like the rest of us wonder why you ever thought you could never do it.

When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Hi Karen,
One of my good friends in high school was 6'2" and a GG girl.
So height shouldn't be a problem.
Welcome to Susan's.
