Kia Ora,

Ok so there's been a lot of talk about attraction lately...Do you want to/would you sooner be attractive etc... So.................

What makes a person physically attractive to others?

Now for the most part this would seem like quite an easy question to answer because we are all attracted to others in one way or another...But what is it about the target of our attraction that attracts us ?
Is it their facial features ? Their eyes ? Their hair ? Their body build ? The way they smile ? The way they carry themselves ? Their personality ? Or a combination of all mentioned ?
* I
forgot to mention the part pheromones play in attraction [a person's scent so to speak], however for the most part pheromones are hard to detect, so I guess they can play a role, but how much of a role is anybody's guess ...You might find a person physically attractive one day

then they do something that displeases you and all of a sudden this physical attraction fades, turning into repulsion ...
Or one morning you might look in the mirror and think to yourself " I'm not that bad
looking really !"

Then the next day you don't like what you see,

yet your body's really no different from the day before...
They do say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and is only skin deep...If for example one removes the eyes that one finds attractive in a person, once out of the eye sockets would the eyes still hold that attraction or would they just be another run of the mill pair of eyes ? And if you find their face attractive then surgically remove the skin...then what ?

What really is it about a person that holds ones feelings of attraction ?
And what is physical attractiveness ? Is there really such a thing ? And if there is does/can it last ? Does ones perception have to change to maintain a level of attraction ? After all we are all in a constant state of flux and we're just skin and bone...

It would seem in the long run what's eye candy for one person could be an eye sore for another...That's life I guess...
