For me it takes two days of work! I am serious! I tried to epilate but the pain and time required was too much, so I started shaving and it took hours and of course I had to make pauses to eat or relax because I could hurt myself if I was too much impulsive. So more than one hour for a leg, and so on... till i finally, in the morning of the second day had removed everything.
Some little blood to waste the feeling, anyway I did it in two occasions, and I remember to never had that nice feeling while sleeping. It was finally relaxing. There were some little sexy also, something to manage accurately to think it as an everyday condition, but the reason why I stopped is simple, it lasted just 2 weeks. And after that i was back that haired guy I knew before.
This is the main reason why I will go to laser epilation ASAP

So many male sports people shave that it is very common among men.
I did laugh a few years ago in the Tour de France.Cyclists shave their legs for some reason, not sure why, but one came off his bike and tore his shorts off. It became obvious to the world that he shaved a lot more than his legs >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-)

Don't you just LOVE the feeling you get when you put on a pair of loose pants or pajamas just after shaving your legs?  :D :D :D Honestly there is no feeling in the world more heavenly than that, I wish I could shave every day, but it makes my skin really irritated so I only do it like once a week.

No one ever said anything. I shaved my legs for the last 15 years, way before I went out as me. I wore shorts regularly and no one ever said anything. I also played squash and worked out in gyms and no one ever said anything.

I remember being SO scared because the first time I shaved my legs it was before I had come out, and I went to tennis practice so I had to wear shorts and I kept trying to cover my legs because I was scared they'd ask me why I didn't have hair on my legs and I would be like... Uhm... It fell off?

One of my older friends had that same problem with her guy friends, and they actually asked her! She just said that her hair had fallen out because she was overweight (total bs of course) and they believed her.  ;)

It's so funny reading these posts as a Transman because I remember when I first STOPPED shaving my arms and legs and how great it felt to just let it grow.  :)

That's probably the biggest reason I sneak into the FTM section...to get a different perspective on things.

I really wish everyone had "quick detach" genitalia so we could just swap gear. (Hmm...come to think of it, why can't they transplant testicles or ovaries like they do kidneys and lungs...?)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Haha, I've thought about that.  That would be VERY beneficial and it seems like it'd be so much easier, right? lol

For people who shaved their legs before they were out... did people notice/say anything about it?

I've been shaving my entire body for nearly 10 years now.  I only came out earlier this year.  Yes, people noticed, but if someone asked, I didn't lie; I told them I shave because I hate hair, simple as that.

Off-topic...

I shave once every four to five days, and use an epilator on my chest, tummy and pelvic region.  I've been using an epilator for so long I literally feel nothing.  Between the shower, shaving and using the epilator, it takes me roughly an hour overall.

As for the feeling of being freshly shaved, omg, yes.  It is amazingly refreshing.

That's exactly how I feel! I would shave so much more of my body if I didn't have so much in the first place. I'm pretty set in waxing the chest. I wonder if I'd have the guts to get my legs waxed to kinda start the process... lol
