I don't think just because its an older woman with a young man that it makes her a cougar. Its the act of aggressively preying on young men for sex by some older women(usually 40+) that makes one a cougar. Hence the name itself being of a predator.

I have to disagree, if a 40 year old or older woman is dating a 20 year old young man it can only be for sex. They certainly can't talk about their favorite 8-track or album growing up. I am not saying anything is wrong with it. Both are consenting adults and are getting just what they want from the relationship.

Umm, I said "aggressively preying" for one thing, not every older woman that has sex with a younger man acted as a predator to get into that situation.  And secondly, an older woman can indeed be with a young man for more than just sex. Commonalities don't have to be based on growing up in the same era, there are many other things that could be involved. Heck. for that matter, there doesn't have to be that much in common other than they just want to be together for whatever reason outside of just sex.

I think most people will find young (~18-25~) people at least as attractive as older people, and more often than not, more attractive. People are made like that: their body hasn't started to "decompose" due to age in those age ranges, so obviously, they're supposed to look better.

The difference is that most older people would not appreciate their partners' youth for its moral aspects - irressponsibility, impulsivity, high sex drive, etc. Or fear the social stigma. But I don't think the physical attraction to a young, fit body is frequently absent.

Don't be ashamed. As long as it's legal, there's nothing wrong.

On the flipside, young guys tend to orgasm way too fast. I like both. I play with young people, and it's great fun, but I have more nuanced and interesting sex with older guys. They last longer. Sometimes they can't get off at all, though, which makes me feel sad and inadequate no matter what they say.
