Hey everyone,

I know this is kinda general and combining 2 posts but its quite short so it made sense.

I've been on HRT for 2 weeks now, and not the full does either, but AA's for about 2 months.
Just a few days ago I started noticing my nipples hurting a little bit, on and off and kinda the whole region sometimes.
Also a few days ago I was standing in the mirror and thought to myself, hmm they kinda look a tad bigger than they did, just to add to that, I asked my girlfriend and she said she was looking at me a few days ago and too noticed it but didn't say anything to me at the time. She said they look like pre-pubesent breasts.
I totally thought it was in my head, like I was trying to convince myself, but apparently I am not.
Is this even possible, I mean really? after 2 weeks, could it be my body just reacting to the hormone shift? I mean my face has erupted like a teenager which is absolutely nuts cause I am 33! I haven't had pimples for years, it totally sux! On a good note, my skin is heaps softer and the hair on my arms is getting to be real fine, I barely shave it anymore.
I really was expecting nothing for months, even a year or so? not that I am complaining, but boobs starting now, I am no where near full time, sooooo far away in fact.

Ok, now my booz question.
I'm not a heavy drinker, although i do very much like a few glasses of wine, like 3-4 with dinner or something.
Last night I got a bit out of hand and drunk about a bottle and a half to myself eek, I totally didn't realize until I was feeling quite dizzy and sick...
You know how it is, sometimes it just happens with dinner and friends when your eating and drinking you forget how much your drinking.
Anyway I know this is bad on HRT I have read this quite a bit, which is why I am asking.
I'm kinda freaking myself out, should I be worried cause I had a big night on the booz? Should I be concerned for my liver now?
I even took my mones in the middle of dinner while drinking, well I didn't take them with wine, but with water but I was certainly still drinking at this point, anyone know if alcohol negates the effects of HRT while your drinking?

hmm, ok that ended up being longer than I though..
Sorry ;)

I had noticeable breast buds after 2 weeks on estradiol (3 weeks on spiro) and I've heard other people getting stuff early too, but before talking to others I was pretty worried thinking like "Oh no maybe my E level are too high and it'll mess up the booby growth!" but turns out my estradiol level is at a really good level. It's just a YMMV thing I guess.

Try to get on injections of estradiol rather than oral pills, if you're worried about the strain on your liver with drinking. I wouldn't worry too much about one night though, being a uni student it's not rare that I have a drink often and according to blood tests my liver is still in tip top condition. A few weeks ago I was at a "German festival" and washed down my pills with a cider. ;3

The AA's can cause liver damage. If you are a heavy drinker you run a higher risk of damage. But it is excessive drinking which is the problem, the occasional upset is OK. If you get your liver function tests, (LFT), look at the GGG and GST  if they are above normal you may be drinking too much. But if your endo has put you on HRT they must be OK with your status.

You shouldn't be especially worried if you don't have symptoms. And no, I doubt your HRT is seriously going to lose effectiveness by anything noticeable because of alcohol. But you should worry about this becoming an habit. Drinking a lot is hard on the liver, and HRT is already making it work hard. Doing this every week might get you in trouble.

Just imagine you're pregnant. Of your new self. You don,t drink when you're pregnant.

Sorry for preaching but... 3-4 glasses daily is excessive, period. If I apply the medical practitioners "double it" rule... Oh boy!

And think about all them empty calories  :(

At two weeks I also had some breast growth..

I am on the injections and my boby also reacted to the hormones quickly
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

it took me 3 weeks to start getting lots of boob pain and some growth, so i'd say 2 weeks shouldn't be unusual
