My, my it's been awhile since I last posted here; college really does take up one's time, yes? Anyway just wanted to tell everyone the good news. I finally put in papers for my official name change! I can't wait for the confirmation to come in the mail and soon I will see my own name on my IDs and on the school roster! I also went shopping for new clothes and now I finally have clothes I enjoy wearing including my first set of actual boxers! I'm also getting my very first hair cut in January. I hope it all goes well...I'm going to have my hair cut pretty short and I'm both nervous and excited at the same time. I also plan to get my first piercing [on my nose] when I get back to college from break. Oh so many firsts! However with the good comes the bad. My mother isn't supportive at all, in fact she's actually taken to belittling me so that I feel so ashamed of myself that I might "snap out of it all". This combined with my already pre-existing anxiety isn't really settling well with me. I also found out that the therapist I wanted to go to wasn't covered by my insurance policy [like everything else] and I would be paying out of pocket. So no therapy for me for a while... Also my mother has no idea that I'm legally changing my name so I'm just freaking out about the day when she finds out. Hopefully I'll be away in college by then... But I'm still excited for January. Hope everyone else is doing good!
