I'm just not into shirts with writing on them.

Also, I'm just not into displaying my gender presentation/sexuality on articles of clothing. It's not that I am not proud but I just don't do it. I don't see many lesbians and gays sport t shirts a lot that says "I am gay!"

However, I do have a HRC bumper sticker so that's about all I have when it comes to public expressions.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed what appears to be intentional misgendering.

Stuff like this should probably not be happening on a transgender forum...

I've started seeing it a bunch, especially when I venture out of the androgyne section. I'm never sure whether to call it out when I see it, because I'm never looking to start a conflict.

It's just the wardrobe that gives gay men away. I told some guy in the Haight, he was werqkin the colorful plaid most gay men are wearing now under his vintage letterman jacket.

I like the idea of making things that open peoples minds. I want others to see that people are open to us.

I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished, without being vain about it.

I am a bit subtle about being out about my sexual orientation, wearing the odd piece of rainbow jewellery, thumb  and pinky rings that identify me as a dyke, (love the tattoo idea Mahsa, I am going to steal it!) but not about being trans.  I just couldn't be bothered explaining all the time. 

Once I get to know someone I will out myself fairly early, but that is different.

I personally wouldn't wear something like that unless I go to a pride festival or something (which I don't, lol). The way that I show I'm out and proud is simply by living my life, day by day, as me.

Also, by wearing these out and proud shirts, etc, you could be asking for trouble unfortunately.

I'm proud that I'm a good person and that I have accomplished things through some difficult times, but proud to be trans?  not really...

like how AIRPOSTLE is written across the front of a shirt. It is for the middle ground I did not really think that everyone would seem to missunderstand this. some of the shirts will express different aspects of gender. It is not all about transsexuals in general it is about gender.
