Are Female Impersonators Trans-Politically Incorrect?

Has the trans "community" gone too far? Have we made trans sensibilities so delicate that writers can no longer create movies and television series about guys who impersonate women? What's next: the banning of movies like Tootsie and Some Like It Hot from the airwaves? It's beginning to look that way, given the outcry over ABC-TV's 'Work It' sitcom, set to debut next month.

Let's be clear: this is not a series about transgender people. It's a silly sitcom about two guys who impersonate women to land jobs. Yes, they cross-dress. But as I wrote in the previous post here, trans people do not have a lock on the word "cross-dressing" and its variants. Lots of people cross-dress, males and females, and they don't consider themselves to be transgender people.
