As expected, my T is really low at 20.0 ng/mL.  I'm curious what the normal level of T is for women, but I can't find any info on that.  My progesterone is elevated at 1.36 ng/mL, but I don't know why.  I'm pre-op and not on HRT.  Estradial is 20.0 pg/mL.

Normal range for testosterone in a female is between 5-85. Why is your T so low if not on HRT?

Estradiol varies in women if you were wondering. It depends on their cycle, but my understanding is that doctors typically try to keep estradiol in MtFs above 160, which is the low end of normal for females in their ovulatory cycle.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Alaina-
If I remember from another forum, I believe Robertina was born with Kleinfleter's Syndrome, and therefore is bound to have lower testosterone levels, even though she is pre-HRT.
Meow.

Yes, I have Kleinfelters - my hypothalmus? does not send the right signals for my body to produce T, or something like that.

Anyway, any idea why my progesterone would be high?

I don't have an endocrinologist yet, but hope to find one soon (I'm currently in Mexico visiting and taking advantage of the affordable lab tests).

Why do hormone levels matter anyways?

Your progesterone level is high due to your low testosterone level.  But still well below that of a premenopausal woman not on birth control.  This may be a result of your Klinefelters.  See an endocrinologist.

@Mahsa I got my hormone levels checked because I am hoping to get on E soon.

@Joelene  Yeah, I hope to find a Trans knowledgeable endo when I get back to the states - if I can afford it.  How might the higher progesterone levels be effecting me?

But if you've already had puberty...hormone levels aren't gonna magically feminize you. I haven't seen a pic of you either.

Taking E will induce a female puberty.  Right now I have very little of either male or female hormones and I'm hoping that taking E will give me a better sense of well being, slow down my osteoporosis, and also develop my chest.  My goal, as distant as it seems, is to have SRS.

That one, I don't know with your condition.  The progesterone level may drop as soon as you start HRT either T or E.  Keep us informed!  Female HRT did a lot to clean up my system, but it is not a cure-all.  There are a lot of things I will have to do and assess ahead.  The same with you, but on a different level due to your Klinefelters.

I know what the hormones do. I've been on them for like 2 years.

How old are you anyways?

WAY past puberty, if that is what you are thinking about.
