So, fate decided to do the slapping for me today. I went shopping with a friend of mine, and I dropped a wad of cash at Lane Bryant. I found 4 bras that fit nicely, 3 pants, a skirt, a dress, and really cute boots. I passed like a muthafugga. I even mentioned to one of the sales girls that I hated being tall and broad shouldered because I was worried someone might clock me as a guy. She looked right at me and laughed at the notion. The sales girls said she was jealous of me because of how tall I was, and for having long legs. So ya, I just need to get rid of guy mode, and I know, now, that I'll be set. Thanks for all the support, guys. I appreciate the replies. Also, if anyone requests, I can do a video of my haul. :3

Autumn, I looked at both your "male" video and your video en femme and I wouldn't question you when en femme, and might when presenting as sort of male.  I think you need to do it on Jan 1st and that you are just nervous about it.  You will only be "ready" two weeks or so after Jan. 1st, if indeed you go through with it.  I don't think you'll ever feel 100% ready until after you do it.  You look and sound great -- go for it!  I think that you told your job that you are going to do this that you should or they will see you as confused and that all TGs are just confused and won't take you seriously.  They already seem to accept you, so the hard part is really over.  If you put it off the momentum will be lost and people will get annoyed that you're dragging this on.  I'm sure HR and upper management want to get this over with and have things go as smoothly as possible, if you drag it out, it will impede that and cause annoyance.  Just do it, and by the following week, it'll be old news.  The only reason why you shouldn't is if you really feel deep in your heart that you are truly not ready.  I've read your posts and honestly think you are ready, and you look fabulous!

I came out at work and they allowed me to transition in open. I have a great boss and co-workers.

Thank you for taking time to show me support. Like I wrote above, after today, I really know that I don't have much to fear. I only have the fear of the unknown, but that's normal for anything new. I really feel confident that I can pull this off, especially after passing so well today. I didn't pass, I blended...perfectly. And I loved every ->-bleeped-<-ing second of it. I wasn't trans, I wasn't even a "girl", at least as so much as I was ME. And I think that is really the key to transition.
