Thanks cindy. I was wondering how many aussie girls would be on the site. I

I reckon we would have enough for a cricket team and enough guys to 'chaperone' us. We could take on the pom TG cricket team in a test series, I'm sure Pay to Air would pick us up. The All Sheila's has a ring about it. We could play for 'the stumps';appendages no longer required

Oh dear, where did I put the tablets

ACT.... pffff nothing to worry about. Once they leave the capital they'd become disoriented without all the round-abouts.

I wish there were more Susan's Place members in Sydney. There is Chloe/FairyGirl but I think she and I are the only ones. It'd be nice to have some people to have coffee / dinner with.

Do we have a chat room for aussie girls? I want to chat! >:-)

This seems to have become it, eh? ;)

I'm not sure about that Hon.

I don't chat as I've never managed to get to finding out how. Bad connections, software fails. etc. I gave up.

would like to try though.

Caitlin; I'm happy to make a time and date for coffee or dinner. TgR (the opposition) meet at the Taxi Club every second Thursday, BUT it would be nice to have a Susan's group PM me when ever you wish.

It would be interesting to know how many Aussie boys and girls we have here. And to have a "Susan's" get together once a year. Providing Cindy finds her tablets and promises to stay on the decaff. You are an absolute 'Go Girl' you know Cindy. You push my pelvic floor muscles to the limits when you post.

Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv
Catherine

There are people from so many corners of the world but there's also a couple in my backyard. Hooray for Sydney.

I could do dinner on a Thursday once I have my car (it'll be a couple of weeks).

Caitlin,

Let us know when the car is ready and we'll see who's interested in dinner. Could be a great night if we could all get together.

Hi miss x   - welcome aboard. Hope you find it a nice place to stay. Must be something in the water supply you have there. I think there's more Brissy girls than anywhere else.  -  Can we have a head count please. Or better still I'll create a poll.

Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa luv

Hello, my fellow Australians, gee I sound like a politician, so it would be better to say hi girls and boys (delete which one doesn't apply to you).

I did a count of the members from Australia and I think I make it 11 and one honorary Ozzie. I am not sure if the count is now 11 or 12. Maths was never my strong point, why else would I become an accountant.

I am from Glen Innes, which is in the Northern Tablelands Region of NSW.

Hello Melissa,

Nice to meet another Welshmanwoman. I'm from a little north of Sydney

hi girls and boys (delete which one doesn't apply to you).
I remember stopping overnight in your town once. I'd left my hair shampoo in the car overnight and when I went to get it in the morning, it was frozen. Hence, since then I only visit in the summer months. LOL.

I would have thought there was a few more girls than a dozen, here. But then again, if you're an accountant, you can't be too far wrong. You'll have to amend your score for the honorary Ozzies. Cindy, our very own Immigration attache to Susan's, granted Devlyn (Tracey) a residential visa just the other night. Tracey now has dual nationality. (We'll teach her how to speak "Strine" soon, the moment she swears allegiance to Julia the Queen :) ) The poor girl, my heart goes out to her. She does a fantastic job here, welcoming new members. It must be something to do with the time she comes in from Boston, because as soon as she welcomes someone, she is immediately drowned by a league of Aussie girls doing the same.

Don't be too shy of displaying your political tendencies either. After all your region has spawned some decent political leadership in recent times. Excuse my political ineptness, but didn't Doug Anthony come from the Tablelands, or at least a recent leader of the Federal country party come from there?

I hope GI is good to you. Being a relative small country town population has its draw backs at times. I know Armidale, which is near, is a more cosmopolitan population due to the Uni may have some effect of acceptance of our community in the local area, but overall country people tend to be more conservative than our city counterparts.

Hope you have an enjoyable New Year. Be safe, well and happy
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi Catherine, I only counted the posters to this thread, and I am still not sure if my count is correct or not but as I said maths was not my best subject.

Thanks for your welcome to Susans, it is a great place for information and most most importantly the friendship and support that I have received. It is good to know you are not alone, especially with the members from Australia makes it a bit easier.

I think Doug Anthony came from the North Coast, but it is pretty close to here. It can get cold here, sorry about your shampoo, the only thing people can remember is the cold when they stay overnight lol.

Lots of hugs back to you

Melissa
