Little help NHS chest

hey guys long time no talk.. So iv started T im almost 12 weeks. went to clinic today and he gave  me a list of chest surgeons i looked up a couple but can find anythink about what it is they do or pics ot anythink i can just find the email thats it. also if anyone nows of any in surry or hampshire (england) send my way.. thanks guys

I remember being there, having the list of surgeons but not being able to find any info on them. My advice is to contact them and ask them if they can send pictures of their work, although I think maybe NHS surgeons aren't allowed to send pictures of their patients. My surgeon was Andrew Yelland, he does both NHS and private. I phoned and asked his secretary to send pictures of his work, I liked the results so I picked him as my surgeon.

Ask about online, also maybe if you have meetings of trans people near you go to one, you can see results first hand and find out what surgeon they went to etc. I didn't do that but Dr Lorimer recommended that to me when he gave me the list of surgeons.

I see Dr Lorimer next time.. dr davies was the one who gave me the list. Andrew Yelland is on this list i might email a couple see were that gets me.. thanks for the info

Thats weird, I was never given a list, I was just referred to a surgeon straight away. (I assumed that since it was NHS not private, I didnt have much say in the matter...)
Anyway, I had Mr.Ward in Leicester. I know thats not necessarily next door to you but hes an option anyway.
