Not one senator voted against a 2005 emergency spending bill that created federalized ID cards. But two years later, skepticism on Capitol Hill about the wildly controversial Real ID rules is beginning to surface.

I hope you're right.  I mean, the way it's going, it's going to affect us all.  I read your post from the other day and basically we're on the same boat; I mean, is there any guarantee that we will remain stealth after this stupid law takes effect?

Nope.  Not to mention all the publicity I'll get by having to go to my local county seat for a legal mandate by the court to "change my sex".  What a laugh. I know far too many people locally.  It could really mess up my life here in my little "conservative" part of the world.
