Right now I am having one of the best nights ever. I'm here with Jannie and Azmaria in a hotel just hanging out. Poor Azzie has crashed. She's still a little jet-lagged I imagine. But she's asleep. I can't help but be protective of her. She is the baby in our Sisterhood and Jannie is the Big Sister. We went and saw what we jokingly call Keaira's Movie, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, because I have a large dragon on my arm. Jannie and Azzie made a set of earrings for me, a pair of raspberries. And I love them! They're my favorite set.
But, the real treasure is just being with the 2 people who understand me the most in my life and love me unconditionally for me as much as I love them. And I don't have to hold anything back when I am with them. I'm the tomboy out of us and I even shed a few tears of joy.
It sucks that they are Heading out to Jannies place in Michigan. At least its only 6 hrs away.But It won't be the last time I see them. Jannie and I have reminisced about our history together. It's amazing to believe we've known each other for 10 years. And we've seen some pretty rough times in our lives. And I got to meet Jannie's Mom too. I also thanked her for accepting her Daughter. I did this via email to Azzie's Mom too, who has adopted me and Jannie as her Daughters too. I feel it is important to thank them because there are so many parents out there who don't accept their child when they transition. As I type this, Trek Nation is on the TV. So this is probably my perfect moment.
